The session was led by a selection of committee members from the VMS, VVS and VDS. Our exciting guest speaker, Vivienne Mackinnon, discussed Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), her work with medics, vets and scientists to limit the effects of AMR in humans and animals, why the issue of AMR is such a big threat to society and finally careers in AMR.
